CASLS celebrates its 15th anniversary this year.
CASLS Turns Fifteen

Thanks to educators like you, CASLS turns fifteen this fall. CASLS began as the Japanese Language Project in 1994. Fifteen years later, the center has expanded its mission to improve language teaching and learning in the United States by serving K-16 educators of all languages.

Help us kick-start our year of celebration during the Confederation in Oregon for Language Teachers (COFLT) fall conference October 9-10 at the Red Lion Inn in Salem, Oregon. CASLS will make a short presentation during the Friday luncheon. We will also be giving away special prizes at our booth in the exhibit hall, including reimbursement for airfare and registration to ACTFL. To specially thank members of the Japanese community who supported the center in its infancy, CASLS will make a presentation and present gifts during the Association of Teachers of Japanese in Oregon Saturday luncheon.
