InterCom

InterCom is short for "intercultural communications." CASLS started InterCom with the idea of providing an informational service that educators could customize to their needs.

Using InterCom, you can specify the types of information in which you are interested. Then, once a week, InterCom searches its database and sends you only those new articles that match your interests.

For instance, you could sign up to receive only information about Spanish and French assessment or Japanese and German curriculum creation. Each week, you would receive an email containing just these types of information.

How is InterCom different than other subscription services? All information in InterCom is researched and reviewed by a human being before being sent to subscribers. Therefore, it is highly qualified and pertinent. Hence, no more receiving emails about a workshop in Timbuktu.

There are two ways to use InterCom:

1. Use the Search InterCom Archives page to search for specific information in the InterCom archive.

2. Subscribe to InterCom and receive a weekly email containing the types of information that you need.
