University of Oregon Chinese K-16 Flagship Program
The Center for Applied Second Language Studies at the University of Oregon and Portland Public Schools formed a partnership to provide high-quality Chinese language learning beginning in kindergarten and continuing through college.

STAR TALK Project
STARTALK project will provide funding for programs to offer Arabic and Chinese language study for four hundred high school students and professional development opportunities for four hundred teachers of Arabic and Chinese. The goal of this pilot program is to increase the number and expertise of students and teachers in Arabic and/or Chinese.
